Thank You for expressing the desire to help our mission. Without your help we could not do what we do. Our goal is to bring annual festivals to our state that spotlights unsigned, up and coming, new country music performers, and all that is great about our beautiful state. We want to bring together and uplift our community while raising funds to give a hand up to our neighbors after the devastation of house fires. We strive to assist our families for the first year with basic needs. If you or someone close to you has experienced a house fire, you know that it takes more than a few days to start over. Since 2015, we have been there to help with clothes, food, motel rooms, car repairs, and more for our clients. And sadly, since 2015, we have seen the need for what we do increase. According to a September 2021 article put out by the National Fire Protection Association or NFPA, in 2020, a fire department responded to a fire somewhere in the nation every 23 seconds. These fires caused 3,500 civilian deaths. Last year we closed out 2021 with 168 people nationwide that we had in some way given a hand up to. That's just a fraction of those who experienced the devastation of fire. Our goal is to be able to double the number of people we help each year until no one ever feels alone and lost in their darkest hour. Your support will help us reach that goal. We could not have helped anyone without the support of our great community. So thank you for taking time to support our HoeDown ThrowDown on the Canal. Your sponsorship will go far for so many people. Our musicians are given that spotlight they might not have gotten; our families after fires; that mom who crafts and is vending in our market; and all the folks who will attend our event and make epic memories. We want to help not only our families after fires find Joy, but for everyone to Choose Joy in life.
Keep up to date with bands and vendors as they register. We have a lot in the works and cant wait for the fun to begin!
